Assigning a technical foul

How do I assign a technical foul? Our coach received a technical foul in the last game, and I could not find it on the options list. I ended up just putting down 2 free throws attempts. Is there a setting I need to turn on to be able to assign technical fouls? Thanks in advance.

In "Coach Mode", tap the Team (instead of a player), then tap Foul, then select Technical.

In "Game Mode", tap any player, then tap Foul, then select Technical in upper right, and you can select "Coach" as the player that committed the foul.
