Play by play scoring for opponent

If I just want a cumulative team play by play for the opponent team and not track opponent stats, is the best way to just create one “dummy” player to use when entering plays?

Is there a better way to do this?

The program will work with opponemt having only one player, but it is designed for both teams to have rosters .


Even if i dont track opponents stats . I find a dummy roster


The play by play entry is what creates the play by play description regardless of need to track stats.

Eg batter john smith grounds out on the throw shortstop #32 ozzie smith to #12 first basemen jack clark
