when to score an error on throw on SB attempt
do you only score an error on a throw attempting to throw out a SB attempt when the bad throw allows the runner to advance 1 or more bases? or should you charge an error when it appears that a good throw would have had a good chance of getting the runner out, but the bad throw lets the runner reach ...

Re: courtesy runner in pitch by pitch
related question (I think I already know the answer, but I bet others don't): if the courtesy runner comes around to score, who gets credit for the Run, the courtesy runner? or the original batter? I think it is little details like this that get missed the most with paper-based scorekeeping and part...

Re: dropped throw error
In that case (answer to first question = yes), the Android version doesn't correctly record that assist either, unless there's a way to score it that I haven't figured out. For that play: In Play, Error, Medium/Grounder directed to SS area, "tap player who made the error", tap 1B Anything else I cou...

Re: dropped throw error
So, is the implication here that if a grounder is hit to SS, SS makes a good throw to 1B, and 1B drops the ball, that the SS would still get an assist? Related question (cause it hasn't happened yet, but probably will): what is the proper scoring for: a) dropped third strike, catcher picks up ball a...

Re: Scoring error on pick off
The extra assist at the beginning of that play is one of those "phantom" assists that I think should get counted in defensive stats, but doesn't. The catcher did his job and made a good throw, so shouldn't lose credit for it just because the 3B didn't catch it. Another example: the left fielder can ...

scoring a pop-out, force out double play
situation: runner on 3rd, 1 out batter attempts to bunt and pops out to the catcher catcher throws to 3rd and doubles off the runner who doesn't get back in time I tried: Out, Bunt, Soft/Popup, 2 what happened to runner on 3rd? Double Play and then the screen switched to next inning. I was expecting...

Re: Twitter
Paid close attention tonight, and every time I did the steps to send a manual Tweet, the Tweet was generated. No auto-generated Tweets at all, though.

Re: Twitter
I just learned about the manual tweets while reading about this, so I'll try those tomorrow night and see what happens. After several attempts during the course of 2 different games, the results are: - no automatic Tweets were generated even though I did have TwitterCast turned on - Only 1 of 20+ a...

Re: Switch hitter
Also In the future on android, you should be able to slide the batter icon from one side of plate to the other I can already do that, if (and this is a really big IF) I actually remember to do it at the beginning of the plate appearance. I did notice that it doesn't let me swap sides in the middle ...

Re: Switch hitter
Sorry, forgot to include that I'm scoring on an Android phone (have been trying to add that info as a signature, so I won't forget to give it when relevant, but my signature changes aren't saving when I submit). I see the first three things shown in your picture, and just blank space below them. I'm...
