If you exit out of the application, and go back in, it should resume right where you left off and you should be able to assign the positions as normal. We have not had anyone able to reproduce the steps that lead to this situation, so have not been able to identify a cause yet... but if it ever does...

Yes, cumulative stats is a major reason for adding the league capabilities.

If you are playing with 10 fielders (you have to set that option), then there actually is a generic "OF" position that represents the 10th defensive position.

Yes. You can have any number of players batting. We limit the number of players in defensive positions to 9 or 10 (you can set it to 10 for leagues that allow it), but you can always bat any number of players you would like, and it will track the statistics for all of them.

We are aware of these issues, and are working on a fix. The best way to be sure this does not happen is to make sure the lineups are entered correctly before pressing the "Play!" button. The good news is if you set up your positions once in Team Manager, then on future games, chances are very few changes will need to be made.
