Re: Hit by ball not responding
Hi CoachJoe - You have found a bug. The button is not working for "runners" right now, only for the "batter". We will fix this for 1.70. In the meantime, if you can mark the runner as out by "Left Base Path" (or whatever oddball out method you would like and can easily recognize), then when 1.70 com...

Re: Scoring question
This situation can not currently be scored showing all touches correctly. The problem is that we only keep one set of "touches" per play. In your case, you are trying to score both the "E3" for the runner reaching first ("3" being the touch), and the "9-3-2-6" for that same batter being thrown out a...

If you can export your database to us (Options, Export), and email us your customer ID (bottom left of options screen), we can see if there is a way we can update your database to put the players back on the right teams.

Re: scoring corrections
Currently scoring can only be corrected using Undo/Redo functionality. The #1 priority of our next release (1.70) is editing games / plays after the fact. We have a play by play listing currently running in our test lab, and we are making some corrections possible directly from this play by play lis...

Re: Purple Line
Purple lines tell when the pitcher changed. The diagonal line is the last batter of an inning.

Re: How do I substitute a pitcher when using a DH
Official MLB rules actually say a DH can only be used for a Pitcher.
Rule 6.10 here:

Also more references to it on Wikipedia, but the MLB site is obviously more official:

Re: Home Away...
Prior to version 1.60 (which was just approved last night in the App Store - free download), Swap would actually do exactly that --- swap the lineups for the two teams. This was a feature in iScore from the beginning, from before Team Manager existed. Since Team Manager, the usefulness of swap has b...

Re: Am I scoring this wrong?
bsweetser has it right. If you score it that way, the scorecard shows the runner hit a triple, then was thrown out trying to advance home. I attached a sample picture from a scorecard of a runner hitting the ball to right field, and getting thrown out trying to stretch to a home run (9-2).

Re: stats xls
I believe to attach a file, you click the "Browse..." button next to the Filename field, then have to click the "Add the file" button to actually attach it. If you just submit without doing the "Add the file", I don't believe it attaches the file to the post. (This forum software is just something w...

Re: How many games can you score with a fully charged battery?
Here is a good thread where people have reported their experiences with battery life: http://iscore.freeforums.org/battery-life-t162.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false It looks like 2-3 games should be possible based on feedback. Some users have found add on batteries that can make i...
