Re: SB credit for double-steal
I've always used "On the throw" (and have seen it used) as a type of FC in cases where an advance was solely because of a throw to get another batter out. For instance, runner on 2nd and batter hits a single. Runner from 2nd rounds 3rd and heads home drawing a throw. Batter makes it to second only b...

Re: Infield collision
I've seen a nearly identical play in MiLB ruled an infield hit.

Re: Double Switch
I'll take a stab at it, I assume you are using an iPad. Let's say the Cards did a double switch with the 3rd baseman and the pitcher. When the Cards are on the field, you tap on the 3rd baseman and the substitution box comes up. Put in the new third baseman from the roster list but before you tap "...

What am I missing (Earned vs Unearned Run)?
Was looking at the play-by-play and box score of a college game from last night. Their scoring software notes which runs are earned/unearned in the game log so I've indicated them as (E) or (U) below. If I think of this sequence, I have 3ER. iScore does, too. What am I missing that makes it only 1 E...

Re: Undo/Redo Assistant
Thanks.
Actually I did think of a workaround...just email the scorecard to myself, then do the undo, then use the book to reconstruct things. Not sure why I didn't think of that before.

Undo/Redo Assistant
I'll start by saying this is probably a huge effort but it doesn't hurt to ask... A common question on the forum involves correcting a score keeping error earlier in the game. The answer typically involves undoing everything back to the time of the error and re-entering it since simply editing one p...

K, SB and E on one play
Abel on 1st, Baker batting with 2 strikes. Abel off with the pitch, Baker strikes out. Throw from the catcher is wild and Abel ends up on third. I know it's a K, SB (Abel to 2nd) and Error (Abel to 3rd); the question is in the proper scoring sequence. I did the following: Tap Abel, Stole next base T...

Re: Question about MLB roster package
Makes sense. That's what I've been doing so I'll continue with that procedure.

Re: Editing times
It's nothing extremely critical. I just like my info to match with that of the official scorer. (I use iScore almost exclusively at MiLB games)

Question about MLB roster package
If I go to Options->Add Ons and click "Update" (assuming one's available), does that update any rosters I've downloaded (i.e. MLB, MiLB, NCAA) as part of the roster package? If not, is there any way to update MiLB rosters other than going through the "Discover Team" process and 're-discovering' a te...
