Re: K looking/swinging

The version that is about to be released actually has a "scorebook" that can be printed that shows the strikeouts looking (reverse K) versus swinging (normal K). In the next next release, we are going to be including an export capability that will have just about every stat we capture in a format co...

Re: Cumalitive stats

We have cumulative stats complete in the version we are about to submit to the App Store. It will be submitted any day now (still making a few last minute changes to try and address as many requests as we can), and will then take about 4-7 days for Apple to approve. The cumulative stats will be adde...

Re: changing pitcher

First off, I want to make sure you are using the release that just came out this week? If not, you should definitely update right away (all updates are free to existing customers through the App Store). If you follow the steps in this post: http://iscore.freeforums.org/how-do-i-substitute-a-player-i...

Re: How do I track pitch location?

We are actually working on a new design for pitch speed and type. For pitch speed, I think what we are going to do is go with a "range" down the left side... pitchers have different ranges... you can adjust the range depending on the pitcher, and then it will just be one-touch within that range. We ...

Re: How do I track pitch location?

The way it stand right now, you enter pitch locations after the pitch. For balls and strikes, it is very easy as you can do all your scoring right on the pitch chart. In the case of a hit ball, you can go back to the pitch chart after you score the play, and select the location of the pitch. Selecti...

Both of those features are in the release we are about to post to the App Store... we should have an announcement either today or tomorrow.

Thank you.

How do I track pitch location?

The release of iScore that just became available in the App Store allows tracking of pitch location (as seen in screenshots in the App Store). To use this functionality, when you are on the main scoring screen, slide your finger across the screen from right to left, and the pitch chart will appear. ...

Re: Pitch location

You actually CAN do this in the app right now. When you are in the main screen, do a "flick" action from right to left, and the pitch chart will slide into place. You can track pitch locations, speed, and type right now. We do not report on that data in the current version, but you can record the in...

Why do I get the message "The game could not be loaded due..

The original version of iScore Baseball had an issue where a crash could cause a corruption of the data for a game. This problem manifest itself in two ways. First, users may not have been able to enter the game at all and any attempt to do so would cause a crash. Second when in a game, attempting t...

Re: more enhancement requests

There are at least a few advantages I think we have... first, we were designed from the ground up with the iPhone in mind, so all of our interfaces are going to fit well into iPhone's standard interface guidelines (as opposed to being a port from another platform where they are concerned about consi...
