Re: Short hopper

Not familiar with NEXT PLAY option. Is it available on Android? I still use Android phone. Adding notes was always cumbersome and easy to fall behind. Not sure how much more I will use Iscore now. Youngest daughter completed her 4 year college career with her team playing at the NAIA College World S...

Re: Squeeze bunt - double play

On Android phone once I hit double play for R3 it doesn't ask about R2 or R1. Just goes to next half inning.

Re: Error or Unlucky hit

My take is the scorekeeper has to decide if the shortstop made a poor throw that drew the second baseman off the bag. So it is either a Fielders choice with an E4 or E6.

Re: Homerun, R1 does not touch home. (answered)

Just so I am sure I understand this, R3 is the runner at third base at the beginning of the play and R1 starts this play at first base? In other words the runners labels change depending on what base they are on and do not stay constant based on the order they got on base.

Re: Runner doubled off after batter lines out

Agree with Ohio Tex suggestions. Also you have to enter "double play" to have the fielders involved credited for participating in a double play. The trick is you have to assign what fielders participated right away because when you hit "double play" it won't ask you after that.

Re: TIP: Quickly Identify Earned vs. Unearned Runs on Scorecard

I would point out that I don't see this showing up on scorecards produced by iScore on my Android phone.

Re: Cant add a new player during a game

One option when a player shows up that wasn't on the beginning game line up/roster is to exit the scoring screen and go to the starting line up in pitch by pitch on the game starts. I think you can still add a player there. Usually there isn't time to do that during the game though. Most of the time...

Re: Stats error during games

Well this doesn't answer it, but at least someone read your note. Using iScore on my android phone I had an issue this weekend where the coach asked for a pitch count on the home team's pitcher to the official scorekeeper sitting next to me. The visiting team was on the field then and so all I could...

Re: Infield Double?!?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on this play if you record single for the batter when iScore then asks what happened to the batter and you advance him to second you don't have a "fielders choice" option there. You have to use "on the throw" even though there wasn't a throw. Am I remembering that right ...

Re: Winning pitcher

NAIA. Am thankful that someone actually is trying to score the games at this level. Usually a student from the SID office.
