Re: Questions after scoring my first game

1. Use "Held Up" instead of Advanced by Batter and you will not see the extra text. I'll try that next time, but to me, as a new user, it struck me as "held up" means "held up at home", it wasn't obvious to me that the player was already at first. 7. We will add this to our enhancement list for fut...

Re: Questions after scoring my first game

1. Many times things happen to the runner after he is safe at first on the single, and this gives you a way to capture that. He may get a single, and then advance to second on an error be a fielder for example. This happens during this player's at bat, not during the following player's at bat. Once...

We try not to mention any competitors products specifically, whether the mentions are good or bad, just as a general policy on the board... thank you. Fair enough. I considered that when posting, but thou...

Re: Some newbie questions

1) The App Store doesn't allow demo versions. Not as such, no - but a lot of developers have a "free" version - a separate app that has the limitations in there. So yes, there are demos, just not in the classic sense of the word. 4) No, you can't skip a play. But you could enter something close and...

Some newbie questions

I've been a user of another scoring software package for ages. Going back to when the Palm Pilot was the dominant PDA "thingie" out there. I stayed with the software there for a very long time, well past the point of my using the Palm as a regular device. They came out with an iPhone version, and ha...
