Re: Cannot Change Batters
FTM, You are probably right, but I thought keeping the discussion alive with the hope of finding a workflow for this unusual situation would be beneficial for all. Thank you all who have contributed. I think playing this out with multiple minds has been a great experience and has provided a workable...

Re: Data sharing between iPad/iphone
J-Man,
IPad to iPhone doesn't work. I think the limitation is in the bluetooth. Try sharing via the web.
See viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1307" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; for more information.
Cheers,
Jason

Re: Cannot Change Batters
OhioTex, I didn't even think of skipping multiple batters to get to the correct batter. That makes sense, but it does make the scorecard look a bit interesting. Now, if there becomes a new batting order, it seems the solution may be to skip each batter to get to the batter that was skipped. It then ...

Re: Cannot Change Batters
OhioTex, There is a defensive sub screen and an offensive sub screen. When all players bat, the offensive sub screen does not appear. If the batters bat out of order and are not caught (or are caught later), then that order becomes the new batting order. The offensive sub screen allows you to alter ...

Re: Cannot Change Batters
I did think about the dummy player as well. That's an easy option, but would like the option to set batting sub screen. We adhere to MLB rules on batting out of order. For late arrival players, we add them to the end of the lineup. For that, I would just go back to the original lineup and put them a...

Re: Cannot Change Batters
The key is not to use Misc->Show Starting Lineup. You should only make a change here if the *Starting Lineup* is wrong. You should use the Substitution screen if the batting order changes as per your scenario - make an offensive change, and swap the two players in the batting order. This will keep ...

Re: Cannot Change Batters
I just got this question tonight and didn't know how to answer it. Let say Player 1 is the correct, current batter. He gets a single. Player 3 comes up to bat. Do we immediately go to Misc -> Skip Batter (skipping Player 2) in able to score the correct batter? If he get's caught being out of order, ...

Re: Quality Start Statistic
It would be a nice stat, but not very practical for youth baseball as many leagues restrict the amount of innings and/or pitches the pitchers can throw. I know for our PONY league, this year we are restricting even more the amount of work a pitcher can do. The most innings a pitcher can throw is 3 a...

Re: Desktop/Laptop Software
Our league tried moving to a "high tech" scorekeeping software on laptops a couple of years ago. Granted it wasn't iScore, but I think the laptops had a part in the whole thing flopping. The touch devices these days are way more intuitive and generally [adult] users engage them with less fear. We ar...

Re: Missed First Game
WarrenBof,
The answer is yes. Simply create the game in the Game Manager and enter the correct information. But, do you have all the stats you need? Stats, from my knowledge, are cumulative for individual players as well as teams.
Cheers,
Jason
