If you score it as WP for both runners in the same sequence it will only charge 1 WP to the pitcher. I had the same question moving from another software package. I had to try it out a couple of times before I was convinced of it.
The same idea applies to a passed ball.

Re: Scorecast
In 'Options' make sure the 'i-Scorecast' option is turned on.
I'll be at the Omaha Slumpbuster next weekend also. It's is supposed to be a great tournament.

Re: SAC Fly - Runner out for leaving Early
MLB rule 10.08d indicates that the run has to score for a SF to count. The exceptions are only if the catch is dropped (the batter gets the SF and not an ROE) or if another runner is forced (the batter gets the SF instead of an FC).
I guess I would not score it as an SF since no run scores.

Re: re-entering the game
Go to Game Manager and touch the game you want to reenter. You should get a screen that shows the box score and lets you view stats for the game. Touch the Play button at the top. That will take you back into the game at the point you left it.

Re: Batter history bug (?)
I have also seen this issue. I have seen it in a little different situation. I was going to wait until I could see a few more instances and see if I could pin the details down a little better, but what I have now might help. My son's team typically roster bats (all players at the game have Batting=Y...

Re: Fielder's Choice
CS, I don't know softball rules at all, but is 14.4.1 intended to not give extra base hits when a fielder is throwing the ball to get a preceding runner? For example, a batter hits an apparent single to the outfield with a runner on second and the throw goes home allowing the batter to reach second....

Re: Fielder's Choice
That rule is in MLB 10.05 (b) (1) in case someone wants to review this and can't find it.coop85 wrote:

(a) When a runner is forced out by a batted ball, or would have been forced out except for a fielding error;"

Re: Winning pitcher
Under MLB rules, a starting winning pitcher must go at least 5 innings for a game lasting 6 or more defensive innings and 4 innings for a game lasting 5 defensive innings. For high school games, the rules require a starter to go 4 innings to get the win. I'm not sure which rules would apply for the ...

Box Score Issue
I have a game that I scored this weekend. The game was called after the top of the 4th inning due to a time limit. The Home team had gone ahead with 5 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning. The Visitors scored 0 runs in the top of the 4th and the game was called. In the Box Score on the device, this ...
