Re: Adding players

Yes, we will be adding more softball specific features in the future. The things you mentioned, and also the DP/Flex rule. We have Designated Hitter, but DP/Flex is just different enough that it needs another interface.

Thank you.

Re: Adding players

The suggested way of doing this is to create a "fake" team for the opponent before the game starts, and you can put in "player 1", "player 2", "player 3" or whatever for the names. As the players come up, you can edit their names/numbers in the lineup. (Or only number if you want... you can just lea...

Re: lineups

I would suggest never deleting the players unless they are not at the field that day. The roster in Team Manager should be everyone. At game time, then lineup will include everyone that is at the field that day (so will match the roster unless a player did not show up). But the lineup will have Batt...

Re: lineups

For the lineup, you do not have to remove any players that are not playing... just make sure they are set to batting=NO. In Team Manager, you should set the default starting players to batting=YES and set their positions. Then when you start a new game, it will default to the usual starting lineup, ...

Re: Scorecard/scoring question

This actually sounds like an issue we may have seen in version 1.50 that is addressed in version 1.60. If you can wait and check with version 1.60 (should be out any day now) to see if the player shows as E6 at first base, that would be great.

Re: Field postion "rest"

We have stats right now for the # of batters faced and the number of balls/strikes/total pitches for each pitcher during a game (as well as cumulative statistics). The scorecard also shows every time a pitcher made an appearance in the game. What else would you like to see, and how would you like th...

Re: Field postion "rest"

Can you explain where the drawback is? If we can understand the concern, we may be able to address it, but I believe we are scoring correctly. We can't give credit for an inning if an out is not made... that is the definition of innings pitched. Innings Pitched = number of outs recorded while pitchi...

Re: Field postion "rest"

Actually, ending an inning early could very well be the cause of the # of innings pitched for your players. We have not had a chance to review your database yet (we did get it though... thank you), but if you end an inning early, the current pitcher does not get credit for "innings pitched" for any ...
