Leagues confuse me! (responded)

I cannot seem to be able to figure out leagues in iScore. The major problem seems to be I can't figure out when to assign something to a league. For example, I follow college baseball. I have set up two leagues, 2018 and SEC-2018. I have assigned every team to 2018 (so I can separate this year from ...

Fielder's choice for 3rd out (answered)

This happened twice over the weekend. How do I enter into iScore? Runners on first and second with 2 outs. Batter hits a ground ball to SS who steps on second base to end the inning. After recording play as a FC, the first question iScore asks is "What happened to the runner on second base?" Well, n...

New Pitch Clock & Game Delay. How to enter "No Pitch Ball" or "No Pitch Strike" (answered, Implemented)

NCAA currently uses a 20 second clock where if the pitcher doesn't throw the ball within that time, it is a ball. If the batter causes the delay, then it is a strike. Now, I haven't seen it called even one time over the past three years, but it is bound to happen someday. Also, I understand that MLB...

What is the Difference in "Advanced by Batter" or "On the Throw" (resolved - RBI difference)

This has probably been answered previously in the forum, but I couldn't find it. Consider two situations. First, with a runner on 2nd, batter hits a fly that lands safely for a single, the runner goes to 3rd. In iScore, place the runner on 3rd and mark it as "advanced by the batter." Next, the batte...

Update Rosters for New Seasons (answered)

I follow college baseball. My team plays 50-60 games each year (depending on how far they go in the College World Series) and play against 25-35 different teams. Each year each of their opponents return about two-thirds of their roster from the previous year. I download each opponent's roster from t...

Fielders choice

I've been wondering about this and this evening was looking over the illustrated score card examples. Situation is this: two outs, runner on first and batter hits a grounder to short who flips ball to second baseman covering. This obviously is the definition of a fielder's choice, but does the fact ...

Re: Base runner hit by batted ball

Well, that seems simple enough

Over the past 4 or 5 years I can't remember another batter being hit, but if it happens again, I'll be ready. Seriously, thanks for your help.

Base runner hit by batted ball

This happened in a college game last night . Bottom of the 11th, bases loaded, game tied and 2 outs? Batter hits a sharp line drive between first and second; surely hit well enough to bring in the runner on third to win the game. Runner on first, not paying attention, runs into the ball and is calle...
