Re: New Product - iScore Central Viewer app

WOW!! Very nice. A slight enhancement would be to flag the next batter up for the team on defense. Thanks

Re: Quick outs defaults to line drives

It doesn't bother me because the final result is correct. The play-by-play shows it as a ground out, it's shown on the scorecard as a ground out and it shows as a ground out in the stats.

Re: Not a sac fly so what instead

IMHO a sacrifice fly, like a sacrifice bunt, is an action by the batter designed specifically to advance a runner. A pop foul with a runner tagging and scoring was a fluke contributed to poor defense. I would score it "Advance by batter" but not a sac fly.

Re: Stolen base or fielder's choice?

Based on my understanding of your situation I would score it a single, them move the batter to second base and choose "On the throw."

Index letters on right side of player list invisible

The index letters on the right side of the player list are the same as the background color. This makes most of them invisible except for one or two that happen to fall on a dark bar. If the index letters were a darker color they could be seen. iPad and iPhone. iOS.

Re: Strikeout caught stealing double play

I'm curious why this would be necessary. The scorecard shows K on batter as out #2 then CS as out #3. I wouldn't call this a double play since the batter did not cause or participate in the runner being caught steeling.

Re: Time tracking

I would prefer an alert similar to the pitch count alerts where we could set the alert time according to the league rules. We have different time requirements for different leagues. With a timer it might be a challenge to get it corrected if you didn't get it set right at the beginning of the game. ...

Re: Base runner hit by batted ball

I had runner on 1st and 2nd with 1 out. A ground ball was hit toward the second baseman and the runner going from 1st to 2nd was hit. In my opinion the second baseman would have made the play so I scored it a fielder's choice for the batter. When asked what happened to the runner on 2nd I placed him...

Re: Player positions blank on HTML viewer

Thanks for the feedback. I generally have between 15-20 people following our boys baseball game with over half using the HTML version. This is a credit to the iScore product. When we play at a field with no scoreboard there are always several parents at the game who use their phones to know what the...

Re: Player positions blank on HTML viewer

I scored two games this weekend so far and the problem still exists. Fortunately I didn't have many position changes. It seems most irritating to people following on Scorecast. They like to know where their gandkids, nephews, etc are playing.
