Forfeits, Game info bug, and website enhancement

Three things came up today from one issue... Opposing team forfeited due to lack of players. Would love to be able to end game and declare winner without having to make dummy player and score home run just to put a W in the win column. Not only for team website, but just to have on the iPad as well....

Re: photo player

Just wanted to add the desire to locally cache the photos on the iPad. I had set up my player cards at home, then sat at the game, showing off iScore, and really missed the chance to flip the card over and see the players faces. I realize that the server is needed for the score casts, but to have th...

Re: Roster Entry Issues

as always, your quick response is appreciated, and ban me from the board if I'm asking too many stupid questions! PreSelecting my League? I'm just trying to sit down to a TIVOed Cubs game and practice my scoring. Here are a few issues I run into. 1) I create a Cubs team. Fill in Team info, including...

Re: Roster Entry Issues

Just to add to this thread, I'd like to see this streamlined also. I've commented before that having to go through the already created players screen to add a new player is goofy. The roster should have both "add player" and "add new player" to skip that step... But, I think I've found a bug. My pro...

Re: Data Sharing - FAQ

Thanks for that explanation. The full functionality of Data Sharing wasn't obvious on my limited data set. As usual, you've thought the problem through way past what I even knew I needed. I understand about the matching feature of Data Sharing, and it is elegant for conflicts, but I still quietly co...

Re: Data Sharing - FAQ

I may be wrong, but I think the Export, Import only works on devices that have the same serial number, so you can't mirror a unified database between 2 different devices via export/import. I don't believe you can share the same Customer ID for both an iPad and iPhone simultaneously. And Data Sharing...

Re: Data Sharing - FAQ

Just an enhancement request... Sharing is a great feature, especially between different families on a team. But could there be a way to implement a "Sync" feature to match up databases between devices? I have an iPad and iPhone, and love using them both. If there was a way to keep them in parity so ...

Re: How do I score this one?

OhioTex,
Why start this as "in play"? The batter is out, so shouldn't that be the first touch?

Re: Batting Average Enhancements

Just a comment from a dummy... I like the concept of iScore, and get very nervous as things evolve to iStat. If there is a way to hide all these new stats people are asking for, I'd opt for that. As simple as the program is, it is still pretty daunting to just score a game as an interested parent (a...

Re: Fastpitch softball - challenged pitcher

Thanks for the info, and I swear I googled it! Except I didn't know it was softball only, so my results were all about how umpires shouldn't hesitate while making calls.. Thanks for the good rules websites. I probably need a "rules for dummies" book though. Often, reading the specific rules like you...
