How do I do this?

Men on 1st and 3rd, 1 out. Pitcher makes an errant throw on a pickoff attempt at 1st base allowing the runner on 3rd to score and the runner on 1st to go to 2nd. If I touch the runner on 1st and score him safe at 2nd on an error by the pitcher, iScore does not ask me what happened to the runner at 3...

Re: Game shows as "Scheduled" - "Game has not yet Started"

I also score lots of games after the fact as I'm the "keeper of the stats" for my son's team but others sometimes do the actual scoring in a manual book. So I end up entering lots of games later. I have one game listed as "Scheduled" in game manager and I've been back and forth into iScore many time...

Re: Battery Life

I have an iPhone 3G and one of the things I do when scoring a game (or a doubleheader) is turn OFF the 3G network (Settings -> General -> Network -> Enable 3G) cuz I've heard in other places that the 3G network uses lots of power. This seems to help improve battery power a lot and I've made it thru ...

Pitching - OBP and RA stats aren't correct?

I have experienced problems with the pitching issues that have been referenced earlier and am looking forward to the new release to address them. However, as I've done some manual calculations to address this, I've noticed that two pitching stats don't look correct to me: 1 - OBP - this looks wrong ...

Pitches per at-bat

Thanks... love the app! Newest release was really a step up and the cumulative stats is a great addition. Do we have any way to track the number of pitches per at-bat for each hitter? It would be helpful to evaluate whether hitters are “too disciplined” or “too aggressive” at the plate, and whether ...

Slow startup

I wondered if you've noticed that if you start a game then have to leave it for some reason (make or receive a phone call, send or receive text, etc.), when you come back in, users are returned to the "Select Game" screen. After the user selects the game they want to continue scoring, it takes quite...

Re: Runs, RBIs and steals

OK... I played with a fake game just now.... so I have a follow up question: when runners are on base and the ball is put "in play" by the batter, iscore first asks about what happened to the batter (i.e. "hit single" and all the other choices). From that, iscore figures out that the runners will pr...

Runs, RBIs and steals

There are three questions here so forgive me: 1 - I've scored 2 of my son's games now and I've noticed that neither team has been credited with enough runs scored or RBIs to account for all the runs scored BUT the score of the game itself has been correctly tracked. For example, last night our team ...

Re: Pitching substitution

Sorry... I have just reviewed the game more throughly. iScore correctly notes that our team lost the game 2-0 (bummer!). I have noticed that none of our pitchers have any runs given up or earned runs in their pitching stats (both runs were earned). And none of our opponent's players have any runs sc...

Pitching substitution

I just scored my first game so I was a little pressed for time as I did different things. I outputed the info and emailed the game results to myself where I noticed that our pitcher who pitched the first two innings was only credited with 1 inning pitched and another pitcher used later was credited ...
