Score book question
I have noticed on a few of my printed score book pages that there is a small purple code (C10 / C17 / C6) next to first and/or second base. What is it - what does it mean? Sorry if this has been asked and answered already.

Requested Change to Printed Scorebook
In addition to the R / H & K / BB inning summaries on the score book, would you please also add E / LOB. These have been requested multiple times this year by either the Coach or the local paper after our high school games.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Flex player not getting defensive stats
Chalk this up to scorer error. :( I had the player in the lineup as the Flex, but did not have her in the field. 3rd base was not assigned a player. When I assigned her to 3rd and re-exported the stats, all worked out. Sorry about that. Suggestion for future enhancement: A pop-up alert that will not...

Flex player not getting defensive stats
Errors on Box Score do not match defensive stats. Box score shows 7 errors for a game I scored tonight, but the defensive stats are only showing 5. Also, the number of POs are short by 2 (7 inning game, POs = 19 in defensive stats.) The 2 missing errors and the 2 missing POs belong to 3rd (the Flex ...

Re: Errors by 2 Players on Same Play
PetroGuy: There is only one error on this play even though the the runner advanced multiple bases. Not necessarily. If F4 misplays the grounder (allowing the batter-runner to reach 1st), and, in the judgement of the scorer, commits another error by throwing the ball over the header of F3 (with no po...

Re: Error or not?
I contend that you cannot NOT charge the CF with an error based on a diving play unless you feel he could have made the OUT without the dive. Letting the ball bounce at his feet and it getting by would be a single with an error. A diving attempt for an out would be a scored as a double (in my opinio...

Re: Errors by 2 Players on Same Play
One of the "privileges" of being an "official scorer" is that your judgement should be final. The coach can have input, but your stats cannot be consistent if the determination of errors are not coming from the same person. Everyone sees a game a little different.

Re: Emailing pitch by pitch?
Just go to the pitch-by-pitch on the device, go to the inning in question and make the substitution. If the pitch was on the roster, you should be able to make the substitution after the fact without re-scoring the whole game again.

Re: RBI Credit
I meant to say batter-runner, but I understand the scoring. Can I also use "on the throw" as the reason for advancing the runner from 3rd without recording the RBI? Situation is bunt to 3rd, 3rd has a throwing (or 1st has receiving) error that then allows the runner to score - typically this run wou...
