Hey ixamnis, Yeah, I was thinking unearned because without the error and passed ball we have runners at first and second (or first and third favouring the runner) with one out. That said, iScore called it earned, which was my reason for posting. Any other opinions? Is there a way to override iScore'...

It sounds like if the 1B had made the catch, it would have been a pretty great catch. Not exactly "ordinary effort".

My kid's team usually plays 7 innings unless a mercy is involved. I generally give a starting pitcher the win if he goes 3 or more complete.

Earned or unearned?

OK folks: scoring opinions request... Tie game, bottom 9. Lead off man gets on via base hit to right. Pitcher relieved. New pitcher throws away pickoff attempt at first. Runner takes second on the error. Runner then takes third on passed ball. Second batter singles to left. Runner scores. Game over....

7 innings to 9 innings

Greetings, all. So my kid's team generally plays 7 inning games, but on occasion, rather than playing a double header, they will go 9. I was entering such a game after the fact from my paper scorebook, and forgot that the innings setting was set to 7 until the game ended screen turned up. Oops. I've...
