TruMedia Issue and Experienced Users

Hopefully the trumedia guys are watching... Purchased and can't get anything...there is ZERO documentation that I can find anywhere. When I click on player card in the iPad app or in iScorecentral it continuously tells me to wait 30 minutes or export again....i've waited 2 days...I've uninstalled an...

Re: Fielder's Choice or Error?

Gonna go out on a limb here and say this is a miss-play as described in OhioTex's extended example... Description: Miss-Play = Results from a play that could have been made with normal effort. By example...this same outcome with no one on base would be judged an error. (Line drive in glove that in t...

Re: Tracking defensive innings played

I do not have official usage stats, but based on feedback on this forum,.. I am not convinced youth ball that rotates players by position is a minority. sounds like a number of folks use score and have youth teams that do rotate players defensively .. and could benefit from the computer associating...

Re: Narrative Science

It will never happen...I'm in the research business and have negotiated extensively with Narrative Science. It ain't cheap. Another company is the one exploiting this right now but I think they are hitting their nadir...the backlash from the coaching profession is building at the High School level. ...

Re: Pitch Location legend

Thanks...was wondering if they had it...I'll probably sign up with one or the other...do you have any links to experienced users that have reviewed both and their advantages/disadvantages?

...any thoughts on adding a pitch location report that is vertical by batter but horizontal by pitch?

Re: Pitch Location legend

Now i understand the discrepancy. Let me rephrase my original question: "Is there the ability to review a pitch location chart that identifies and includes a legend for: batted balls in play safe, batted balls in play out, foul balls, called strikes, swinging strikes?" I now understand that the char...

Re: A few questions

MLB rule 10.12.a.2 echoes the Fastpitch rule. 10.12 (a) The official scorer shall charge an error against any fielder: (2) when such fielder muffs a foul fly to prolong the time at bat of a batter, whether the batter subsequently reaches first base or is put out; I stand corrected...I assumed that ...

Re: A few questions

I had a few questions regarding the baseball iScore app. 1. How do you record an error on a dropped foul pop up (where there is an error recorded, but no outs or base runner advancement, and the batter remains at the plate)? I would offer only one scorekeeping note regarding dropped foul "errors".....

Re: Pitch Location legend

We do not have a view that shows the pitch chart of each pitch on a single line. There are several issues with that approach including seeing the text that takes place on each pitch (there could be steals, pickoff attempts, caught stealing, etc) and there could be too many pitches to view on a sing...
