Re: Video Scoring overlay

We have a "scoreboard overlay" for video streams that we have been using for a couple of years now. It puts the score, players on base, innings, and outs on the screen. It can't show pitch counts because of inherent delays, but provides a very professional looking experience. If you email us at sup...

Video Scoring overlay

For the last 2 seasons, we have been video recording our travel teams games (both baseball and softball) and iScoring them after the fact. Something that would be awesome, and I realize this probably would mean a separate system, is a scoring app that was embedded into video playback. The operator w...

Re: Defensive indifference?

I score it as DI, nearly every time. However, I use the data I collect because of it's usefulness, and not to conform to an MLB rule that may or may not scale to the age and field size. I collect the data to grade my players. Stolen bases, while they generally involve other positions, make for good ...

Re: Delay option for iscorecast (needed for video streaming)

Hey Guys.. I realize this thread is old, but hoped to get a little more information on embedding controls for streaming. I'm doing the same thing, except on LiveStream.com. I'm attempting to setup my own web page to stream the game, the box score, and I'd like to get the current player/batter infor...

Re: Video Recording

Elcray, The video's look very nice! Which GoPro edition do you use black, white or silver? I started with a White, which is decent for just recording games. Then I bought a Black...which is outstanding, especially when we work on swing mechanics in the cage. It requires decent lighting but you are ...

Re: Video Recording

Elcray, That looks nice, i was looking for a similar solution. Could you maybe post a shot from the field as well, i'm really interested in the quality of the shots? Secondly where did you buy the fence mount? Thanks. Click on the image in the original post to go to the web site. Here's an example ...

Video Recording

Because it seems like I always get distracted when trying to score, I begin the beginning of the season recording all of the games with my GoPro Hero 3 video camera (It will capture the entire playing area). Then I could go back and fix anything I screwed up (it also kept "those" parents from asking...

Re: Pull stats for last 3 - 5 games

Is there a way to just pull stats for the last 3 or 5 or 7 games to see what players are hot most recently to help make a lineup? The only way that I am aware of is to create a new league and manually assign those last games to the league. Then pull stats by that league. This is easier if you have ...
