Re: Version 5.0 for iOS available

A question - apart from the update graphics, can we expect additional improvements in version 5? For example, will iScore now be capable of recording double-play outs in the correct order on the scorecard in cases where the double play can't be entered from the quick menu? Will it be possible to con...

Re: Triple play - order of outs in book

...the actual order is just a footnote at best. . From the standpoint of compiling statistics, you're right. But from the standpoint of reconstructing what went on in the game - which is one of the main purposes of a scorecard - I'd venture to say you're wrong. Or at least, that I disagree with you...

Re: dropped third strike run scores

Am not sure the dropped third strike counts as a passed ball. From the MLB rules... 6.09 The batter becomes a runner when -- (b) The third strike called by the umpire is not caught, providing (1) first base is unoccupied, or (2) first base is occupied with two out; Rule 6.09(b) Comment: A batter who...

Re: Windows (no, not the OS...)

Thanks for considering. Just to clarify - I understand about the space limitations and wouldn't want the pitch-by-pitch, for example, to be stuffed into the scorecard, just easily accessible from it without having to close the scorecard and open another document, or scroll to something several pages...

Re: Windows (no, not the OS...)

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm probably using the term "windows" incorrectly, since the recap is pretty much the kind of access I'm looking for. Ideally I'd like to see it play out a little differently, along these lines: -- Since my main concern here is reviewing a game after it's played, rather t...

Windows (no, not the OS...)

As you can probably tell from my recent posts, I'm getting used to iScore after a lifetime of scoring on paper. Liking the iScore experience in many respects, but still find that there's one advantage to a paper scorecard - it presents all the information you need in one flat layer, on one or two pa...

Re: Box Scores positions

Thanks for the link - it helps to know the reasoning. A broader question based on that, though - has there ever been any thought given to dividing the product, or at least allowing it to be customized, so that there could be, for example, a box score format without positions that meets Little League...

Re: Scorecard display options?

Sorry, I should have been clearer - I was talking about reviewing the game afterward. I take your point about reviewing the pitch-by-pitch but it sort of makes my point, too - I understand the information I'm looking for exists elsewhere in the program, but it'd be a bit more elegant if tit was poss...

Scorecard display options?

Next in a series of requests - or at least questions - from someone making the transition from paper scorecards... iScore seems to have many advantages over a paper scorecard. One advantage the paper scorecard seems to have over iScore, at least for now, is that the paper version allows you to see a...
