RBI?
Does the batter get an RBI for reaching first on a dropped third with the bases loaded? I'm aware of the odd RBI credited for bb, HP, sac, etc. that lead to a run scored because the the bases were loaded, but wondered about this. Thx.

What is customary?
Is "reached on error" or "base on error" only used when the batter reaches first base on an error or does it also apply when a runner advances on an error to 2nd, 3rd or home. Thx.

Is the batter/runner credited with a stolen ba...

Scoring attempted extra base hits
How do I score the following?: bases empty, batter hits cleanly into left field and attempts to make it to second, but is thrown out there (7-4). Does the batter get credit for first base, i.e. a single? Then just curious, what would happen if it would have been an easy out at second and there is ei...
