Re: Runner doubled off after batter lines out

Ah, that's what had me confused - the lack of asking me how the DP occurred after I selected. I'll just need to learn to enter it in at the same time as the line drive out.

Thanks for the tips, all.

Runner doubled off after batter lines out (Answered)

I'm probably missing something which should be obvious, but I can't figure out if I've got the proper series of button presses for this situation. Runner on first, one out. Batter hits line drive to third, which is caught by 3rd baseman for out number 2. Runner thought the ball was going through and...

Re: Player card spray charts

I'm using a Motorola Droid turbo, running Android version 6 (marshmallow). I figured it had more to do with the phone than the app, since the spray charts on the admin web interface look fine. Thanks for checking on it.

Player card spray charts (answered/open, unique to specific Android.Hardware)

This issue is more of an annoyance, and doesn't affect the functionality. But... When I go to view a hitter's spray chart, using the "player card>hits" function, the field graphic doesn't seem to be scaled right. That is, the hit locations are shown as farther into the outfield / closer to the fence...

Re: Base on balls, advance to second

Thanks for the reply. I think I have been scoring it a stolen base, and will continue to do so. It really only matters to the coaches, who might use stats at the end of the season for all-star selections. But, I just wanted to be correct as well. Never a dull moment at this age level.

Base on balls, advance to second (answered)

Got a scoring question. Cal Ripken, minor league (9-10 year old, no lead offs or steals until ball crosses home plate). Runner on third, less than two outs. Batter gets ball 4, drops bat, and sprints to first. Instead of stopping, he continues on to second base. Defensive team doesn't throw to secon...

Re: Umpire loses track of outs

I'm just glad that we didn't have anybody on base at the time, otherwise the situation would have been much more complicated. We are scheduled for six innings, but usually end up hitting either the time limit or mercy rule before that. But I leave the default of nine innings in the game manager anyw...

Umpire loses track of outs (answered)

Had an interesting situation last week. During my son's rec league game, that I was scoring, the umpire (and the opposing team's scorer, too, apparently) lost track of the number of outs. We were hitting, and had multiple runs, there was a pitching change, and several other complicating factors. One...

Re: Missing Games - Not League Related (waiting on support)

I found my games! They apparently moved to the end of the game manager list after they were completed, which wasn't exactly expected. So, chalk it up to user error.

Re: Missing Games - Not League Related (waiting on support)

I've got a similar problem, and am following this thread. I scored some travel ball games back in the fall -- no problem. I got all organized for the rec league season, and was able to discover my kid's team's games from the league website. So far, I've successfully scored (and scorecasted) 3 games....
