Create 'Flat Background' Option for 5.x (future.feature.request idea)

Now with 5.0 out some of us (maybe its only me) would like the option of having the app be free of background images and reduce the opaque/transparency presentation stiles on some of the views. I posted on the 5.0 announcement so I'll not re-hash the subject. The summary is that many of us (I'm an i...

Re: Version 5.0 for iOS available

I get it, and understand I'm ranting a bit.

Just wanted to share the perspective of a long time app user (since nearly the beginning), and a huge advocate of the app and the web services too.

I'll put in an enhancement request on that forum for the ability to choose a flatter view as an option.

Re: Version 5.0 for iOS available

First - I have been using iScore since it first appeared on iTunes and bought the iPad version (yes paid twice) before the app became unified. iScore has been my go-to app for scoring for all that time including scoring multiple no-hitters and a perfect game because I score while watching on TV. Eve...

Re: Game Manager

Works perfectly on iPad with iOS 4.3. Now just waiting for the update on iPhone / iPod Touch and we're set.

Thanks!

Re: End Game Early/Extra Innings

Extra innings are added automatically if the sore is tied so no need to do anything special. You have 'special' functions under the 'Misc' button. These include 'End Game' (for 10 run rule, time expired, etc.), 'Skip Batter' (injured player or one that left early is skipped without recording an out)...

Re: iScore Baseball v3.0 submitted to Apple

Fantastic news - can't wait for many of the new features.

I'm hoping that the pre-set fielders means we'll be able to setup scheduled games as well. Sounds like it. Cannot wait to start prepping the season!

Re: Quality Start Statistic

That is my understanding of the statistic. Since the 20 runs were not earned - the pitcher gets credit for 1 quality start provided:

1: Inning threshold is 5 or less
2: No more than 3 runs before the final out is retired.

Re: Quality Start Statistic

Ah - I see the ambiguity in the 'rule' as defined. The MLB rule is: 5 - or more innings 3 runs or less The simple thing for youth would be to give credit for a quality start if: 1: Pitched x innings or more (x = number of innings set by user) 2: Had x earned runs or less (x = number runs set by user...

Re: Quality Start Statistic

Great we're even talking about it - not much play when I first put the idea in the forum. User defined seems like the best way to go here, though it could be a default like the number of innings per game. input would be: # of innings # of quality start innings # of runs for quality start. The defaul...
